How does coaching work?


1. Download the DrLullaby mobile app on iOS 2. Sign up for your first coaching session with doctoral-level DrLullaby trained clinical expert 3. Answer your DrLullaby screening questions and get started on your sleep plan 4. Prior to your first session, please complete the New Family Form. You will get it from your doctoral-level coach 5. Log in to your video call following the instructions sent to you via email 6. Schedule follow-up sessions through the website or with your coach 7. Continue logging sleep, implementing suggestions from your coach and experience better sleep




Are coaching sessions a replacement for the DrLullaby app?


No. All families must download and use the DrLullaby app before scheduling telehealth consults. DrLullaby experts are trained to help families with adherence to the strategies as well as tailoring and addressing barriers to optimizing success with sleep. We expect the combination of the evidence-based sleep strategies delivered in the app WITH the expertise of our doctoral-level coaches to produce the best results for families who need additional support.




Who is coaching for?


DrLullaby's team of doctoral-level coaches can work with parents of children from infancy through age 18, as well as older children and teens when appropriate.




If I am joining as a parent, should my child attend the video visit?


We encourage you to discuss this with your provider in your initial visit. The majority of our visits are focused on helping parents enable behavior change, but there are instances where having a child present would be beneficial.




Who are the DrLullaby providers?


Providers are top-tier behaviorists. Each of our coaches hold a doctorate (i.e., PhD or PsyD) and is an expert in evidence-based behavioral treatment for pediatrics. They bring an understanding of the DrLullaby interventions and dynamics of parent-child interactions.




Do I need a referral?


You do not need a referral to sign up for these services.




What should I expect at my first visit?


Your first appointment will be 30 minutes in length and will help your behaviorist fully understand your challenges with sleep. In the first session you will review your New Family Form and leave with a set of concrete steps to try before your next session.




Do I need to do anything to prepare for my visit?


In advance of your first visit you will be asked to fill out a New Family Form. This form will ask you to share some information from the DrLullaby app. It would be helpful to have the app and the information you’re tracking in it available during your call.




What is your cancellation policy?


Visits must be cancelled or rescheduled more than 24 hours in advance.




Can I schedule additional visits?


Yes! We suggest each family start with a minimum of 4 visits, but for existing patients, additional time can be scheduled with your coach directly through our website.




Can I use FSA/HSA for DrLullaby coaching?


Sleep deprivation treatment is eligible for reimbursement with a Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Health Savings Account (HSA), or Health Reimbursement arrangement (HRA). The DrLullaby app and coaches do not directly diagnose or treat disease. The DrLullaby app aids in and provides support through sleep deprivation treatment. The DrLullaby app guides users through the existing basic aspects of sleep deprivation treatment. Your DrLullaby receipt (e.g.,, app store payment confirmation) can be submitted for reimbursement through your FSA or HSA benefits. We advise you to check with your FSA/HSA administrator before purchase to check whether DrLullaby is eligible for reimbursement. They’ll also be able to provide you with more information specific details regarding usage, qualifications, and protocol Once you’ve subscribed to DrLullaby, simply send the receipt to your FSA administrator who will be able to guide you through the reimbursement process.
